Aristeia and local Jake Duncan accompany Rubedo on their summer tour this Friday, July 2nd. here is a great description of their music:

Rubedo is the long awaited collaboration of Denver music scene staples Kyle Gray, Alex Trujillo, and Gregg Ziemba. Kyle Gray fronts this pshycadellic soulful groove with his intimate yet fierce vocals accompanied by an army of unique instrumentation. The group builds an infectious wall of sound so large that one forgets there are only three members on stage. Songs may feature anything from screaming psychedelic ukulele to hissy grunge guitars while being held together by grooves ranging from raw,
frenetic jazz flurries to pulsating synthetic backbeats topped with ghostly melodies and philosophical lyrics.
